PR and writing for Patterdale MRT

For several years, Sally Seed has provided PR and publicity support to one of the busier Lake District MRTs. Her work has included researching and editing the Team's Annual Report, writing two issues of Patrick Relay, its Supporters' Club newsletter, each year and providing PR and media support at events, donation handovers and, occasionally, back up during emergencies in the hills. A highlight was media support during HRH Prince William's visit in July 2009.

"It's been a big help for the Team to know that Sally's at the end of the telephone when we need help on communications. She's tackled all sorts of things - some planned, some a bit more immediate - and the positive media coverage that she creates has a positive impact on our essential fundraising and local profile too."
Martin Cotterell, Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team

Sally says: "This is an organisation that is close to my heart as hill walking in the Lake District is something that we enjoy as a family. Working with a team of extremely busy volunteers has its challenges but there is lots going on, plenty of media interest and I have been able to share in some amazing occasions. This is definitely a client that makes me feel like I'm an extension of the team!"
