PR and media relations for Wildroof Landscapes

Sally was recommended to Liz and Phil Newport of Wildroof Landscapes early in 2012 and has worked with them on a number of case studies, press releases and feature articles to promote their garden design and landscaping business.
The working relationship began when Wildroof Landscapes was shortlisted for a national landscaping and garden design award. Since that first story, projects have included a flooded garden rescue near Penrith, a vegetable garden near Cockermouth, a wild roof near Ambleside and, most recently, a story that brought together a sheepfold shelter in a garden, a ceramic Herdwick head and a craft business called Sheepfold! Future plans include an emphasis on the creative aspects of garden design work and, hopefully, shortlisted gardens for 2013 awards.
“Working with Stoneleigh Communications has given us access to media contacts and features information as well as Sally’s writing skills and expertise. Sally’s there as and when we need her and she’s good at keeping us to deadlines too. We started out with a couple of stories but she’s been able to develop others, target them and ensure coverage across Cumbria.”

Sally says: “Liz has always had a very clear aim of using media relations to build the business across Cumbria and to attract clients with significant challenges and the budgets to accompany them. This clear connection with their business objectives plus their flexibility and enthusiasm have made working with Liz and Phil a real pleasure.”
