Web content and copywriting

Sometimes, you have the opportunity to tell your own story, whether online or in other media. Getting those words right – the tone, the voice and the words themselves – is all part of creating strong web content and copy.

“The best compliment I’ve been given for writing copy for a client was that it “sounds just like we’d have written it.” To me, that’s the challenge – your website needs to sound like you, not me or anyone else. And the same is true of your advertorials, articles, blog posts and ads.”

Sally works with a couple of great web designers in Cumbria – particularly Neil at Burnett Design and Chris at Light Bulb Web Design. She’s part of a team and not their only copywriter but have a look at their portfolios for ideas and inspiration.

If you’re struggling to create content or to write articles that communicate the style and approach of your organisation, please get in touch. I like a challenge!

Please note: the image is one taken by Phil Newport of Wildroof Landscapes. I’ve done a lot of work with Liz, who trades as Buzy Lizzie Garden Design, and Phil over the years, including blog and news posts for their two websites and occasional advertorials for Cumbria Life magazine.
